Step 1 ‣ Add a 404 page check to your monthly calendar. I schedule time at the beginning of each month.
Step 2 ‣ Use a free service such as Broken Link Check or Dead Link Checker and enter your domain. Let it do it’s magic!
Step 3 ‣ Make time to fix any broken links as soon as possible.
If readers continue to hit invaluable links, they will likely not return to your site. In the scheme of the big picture, this hurts your traffic.
