SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a top priority task if you want to get organic traffic to your blog.
It is easiest to add the SEO requirements when you write your post. However, we all have blog posts we needed to get out in a hurry and this important step was left out or minimally completed.
This can be especially true for new bloggers who wrote posts and did not understand SEO, so it was not added before the post was published.

STEP 1 ‣ Make a list of the blog posts that need audited. These are the posts you know do not meet SEO requirements.
If you use the Yoast plugin, these posts are easily identifiable in your WordPress admin panel without even opening up a blog post.
STEP 2 ‣ Create a checklist of SEO tasks that needs to be looked at and added (if missing) to each post.
I recommend you work on one post at a time and plan time for this activity. Some posts will be quick, others will take a chunk of time.
STEP 3 ‣ Use a plugin like Yoast to analyze each blog post for you. Make the requested changes, in addition to following your own SEO checklist, to be sure all areas of your post is top-notch SEO ready.
